The new system worked according to specifications, enabling the firm to manage their work processes more efficiently. The team managed the project well — they delivered on time and on budget. They also boasted the ability to work with minimal supervision whilst still delivering quality results.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the CEO and Founder of the Company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

Our company was expanding our offering to address the needs of a new international tech-startups. We turned to PSC to help define the product and market requirements from the new system, and, once this was done (including clickable mock-ups and description of major flows and use cases) we asked them to build the system.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A colleague had worked with PSC at a previous company. They came highly recommended.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

At the core of our practice is compliance, as we are fully dedicated to upholding the reputation of each client, both globally and locally. This commitment requires us to utilize multiple systems and gather information from various sources.

Moreover, a significant portion of our clients are Venture Capital firms, operating in dynamic and fast-paced environments. To meet these demanding requirements, we engaged the expertise of Product Savvy to develop a cutting-edge FinTech B2B enterprise-grade system. This state-of-the-art system integrates all our practices, procedures, online systems, tests, and most importantly, our day-to-day accounting and tax software.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The results have been truly extraordinary. We now possess a robust software solution that seamlessly

consolidates all our procedures into a unified platform, enabling us to provide accurate and timely data to our clients.

Prior to partnering with Product Savvy, we spent months meticulously tracking each step of the process,

struggling to make sense of the various components. However, thanks to their architecture and design, each step has been carefully crafted, implementing the logic of our internal processes.

Our new system allows us to effortlessly share data, integrate all our systems, maintain precise control over our workflow. The client-facing interface empowers us to delegate certain administrative tasks to our clients while retaining complete control of the overall process. The level of functionality achieved is truly remarkable, far surpassing our initial expectations.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The entire project, with the different parts in it, was managed by PSC.

They provided us with an Interim CTO and Interim CPO as they worked together with us on defining the

system requirements.

Once the requirements were agreed upon, a development process started.

For that, they put together a (remote) development team and used a very interesting form of Distributed Scrum to manage the process.

I took a significant part in working with PSC’s CPO and CTO on defining the system, the requirements, the use cases and the flows, and once development started I was mostly involved in weekly status meetings and retrospectives. When needed, I was also asked professional (Accounting related) questions to help them increase their understanding and domain expertise.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We extend our deep appreciation to the members of the Product Savvy team, who, despite not being accountants or tax professionals, demonstrated an impressive ability to grasp the intricacies of the accounting work processes and understand the unique requirements of our industry. Their knowledge and adaptability streamlined our project significantly, allowing us to spend minimal time monitoring its progress.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None that I can think off.
